Welcome Friends of SHS...or SFHS for some of us!

Dear Fellow S(F)HS-ites!

My name is Arden Lanthier, and I am a Grad of the Class of '69 at S(F)HS....

My tenure at S(F)HS was a long and interesting one. From the very start of my educational career I was completely enthralled with the educational process, and proceeded to apply myself to getting educated with a zeal not often seen in todays youth.

Such was my educational ardour that through diligence, copius amounts of homework, and endless hours of study, I did indeed convince my illustrious teachers to extend my educational voyage through the halls of S(F)HS for an additional two years. This was an exceptional feat in itself, given their often apparent urge to be rid of me...perhaps to retire to the teacher's lounge for a smoke. When my teachers assertained that there was nothing more for me to learn there, (they said something to that effect), they sent me on my merry way, well prepared for whatever life would hurl at me.

So my years at S(F)HS were happy, if somewhat busy ones. I benefitted from an extended education, and if time and space permitted could regal you with many a story of my classroom exploits...but...that is the stuff of another web page.

What I did carry away from my school days with you all was the experience of sharing several years of schooling with three different sets of friends. This is reflected in the class photos which you will see on the following page. I commenced my endeavors with the Class of '67, extended them with the Class of '68, and topped them off graduating with the Class of '69.

Thanks to you all for the memories..... and so...to the pictures!
